• disk quotas help conserve disk
• per physical partition, by user or group
• limit disk space(blocks) or number of files (indoes)
• add usrquota and/or grpquota option in /etc/fstab
• quotacheck -vmc /filesys_name
• activate at boot with quotaon /filesysname
• edquota
• setquota
